Michael is Founder and CEO of Big Spaceship. Since launching the agency in 2000, he has defined the strategy and vision for Big Spaceship’s growth and culture as well as working closely with Big Spaceship’s clients. Over the past decade, Michael has led Big Spaceship to attain countless awards of high distinction. This includes a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for the agency’s work with HBO Voyeur, Cannes Lions, Clios and One Show Interactive Pencils, as well as numerous Webby, FWA, Communication Arts, W3 and Pixel Awards. Michael was also named among the 2010 Creativity 50 and the 2008 OMMA Online All-Stars.

Lakai Newman

Communications Manager, SoDA

Lakai joined the SoDA Operations team as Communications Manager in March 2014. In his role, Lakai combines his expertise as a brand storyteller and innovative marketer to lead the development and execution of marketing and communication strategies to evolve, promote and protect the SoDA brand and reputation. He also serves as Head of Production and Managing Editor for The SoDA Report, the organization’s trend publication which features compelling research insights, global thought leadership and award-winning project showcases. A graduate of Emory University, Lakai considers himself a natural “creative” that is passionate about global travel and culture, cooking, and all things digital.

With over 20 years of experience in design and interactive media, Matt was an active participant in the formative years of the digital communications industry, gaining valuable experience with Deepend in London, before setting up Deepend Australia in 2000. An industry representative, Matt has been on many interactive panels and award juries both in Australia and internationally. Amongst other positions, he is an Executive Academy member of IADAS, Executive Juror of the Webbys, Grand Juror of CRESTA and Chair of The Australian Interactive Industry Association’s awards, the AMYs

As Global Chief Technology Officer, Steve facilitates technical innovation and R&D between Nurun’s global offices and helps the company deliver quality solutions to clients using best-in- class technologies. With Nurun since 2001, Steve has helped put in place the technical innovation and mobile projects and has played an integral role in delivering major projects for clients around the world.

Anthony Onesto, Talent & Culture

General Manager, New York for Konrad Group

Anthony Onesto is a leader with more than 18 years of strategy, product, recruiting, and human resources experience. Onesto is currently serving as General Manager, New York for Konrad Group, a global innovation company. He helped to found SmartUp in the Americas and is now an advisor to the learning & knowledge sharing platform. Previously, he was Vice President for Razorfish, focused on global strategies in technology and data sciences across 20 global offices and 2,500 employees for this $750 million digital agency.

Brigitte Majewski

Vice President, Research Director Serving B2C Marketing Professionals, Forrester

Brigitte leads a team of Forrester Research analysts who help clients develop strategies to master and coordinate digital and traditional marketing channels using new media and technology to win, serve, and retain customers. Brigitte has more than 10 years of agency experience crafting integrated marketing strategies with an emphasis on digital innovation. Brigitte holds a B.S. from Boston University in engineering and an MBA from the Yale School of Management.

Stephanie Liu

Sr. Research Associate Serving B2C Marketing Professionals, Forrester

Steph supports Forrester's B2C marketing research by providing qualitative and quantitative analyses and managing analysts' research reports. Prior to joining Forrester, she worked for a public relations agency, supporting B2B technology firms with their analyst and media relations programs. Steph holds a B.A. in international affairs from Northeastern University.

Jessica Ongko

Since joining SoDA's Operations team in 2014, Jessica Ongko has been deeply involved with strengthening SoDA’s brand and visual identity while collaborating with agencies around the world to design and create publications, event signage, and both digital and physical assets related to the work of SoDA. A graduate of the Graphic Design program from advertising portfolio school, The Creative Circus, you’ll often find Jessica trotting the globe and working out of airports during long layovers.

Mariana Rio
Mariana Rio is a freelance graphic designer and illustrator based in Portugal. Mariana graduated in Communication Design by the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Porto, where she studied printmaking in the Academy of Fine Arts of Wroclaw as well. Her work has been featured by Nami Island International Picture Book Illustration Competition Seoul, Lürzer's Archive 200 Best Illustrators worldwide 2013/2014 Vienna, 3x3 The Magazine of Contemporary Illustration New York, CJ Picture Book Awards Seoul, the Portuguese National Illustration Prize and the Bologna Children's Book Fair among others. Annelien Smet
Annelien is an Illustrator & Creative Consultant based in Ghent, Belgium. "I transform stories of clients into illustrations, creative campaigns, intuitive advertisements,
