SoDA Executive Director

After a career on the digital agency and publisher side that spanned 15+ years, Chris Buettner now serves as Managing Editor of The SoDA Report. He is also the Executive Director of SoDA where he is charged with developing and executing the organization’s overall strategic vision and growth plan. And with roots in journalism, the transition to lead SoDA has been a welcome opportunity to combine many of his talents and passions. After living in Brazil and Colombia for years, Chris is also fluent in Spanish and Portuguese and is an enthusiastic supporter of SoDA’s initiatives to increase its footprint in Latin America and around the world. Chris lives in Atlanta with his wife and two daughters.

Group Planning Director, Fuel

Sean is Group Planning Director at Fuel (based in Ottawa, Canada), where he currently works with clients including McDonald’s Europe, Nokia, Mattel and Lucasfilm. He specializes in youth marketing, entertainment & game development, and the incorporation of pirates into advertising campaigns for brands ranging from Jeep to Family Guy. Outside of Fuel, he is co-founder of the Ottawa International Game Conference, managed the category-free Tomorrow Awards and spent a good deal of time in the Mojave Desert launching people into space at the X PRIZE Foundation. They all came back alive.

Kristen Marzonie, Modern Marketer

Social Media Marketing Manager, Perficient

Originally a copywriter, Kristen turned her inquisitive interest in all things social into a career path. Kristen quickly transitioned from developing content to working as the social media lead for clients such as Chevy and Dodge. Much as social itself continues to evolve, Kristen moved on to a Management role where she has managed multiple brands in addition to the agency’s social channels. With her interest in digital strategy, Kristen has also taken on an additional strategic role working with the digital strategy and design teams. Always engrossed in the psychology of how people interact on and offline – Kristen believes a person is worth more than their YouTube comments and Facebook likes.

Holly Fisher-Mclean, Modern Marketer

Senior Content Strategist, Reactive: Accenture Interactive

Holly is a Senior Content Strategist at Reactive. Based in Melbourne, Australia, Holly brings brands to life through innovative, engaging content – be it through language, insights, big ideas or sticky stories. With a focus on poking, prodding and provoking fresh ideas and perspectives on content, Holly has worked as a writer, editor and digital strategist with clients including NBC, Nutricia Danone, Coles and Pfizer. She is currently working on a series of content cheat sheets for her colleagues so they don’t have to turn off Spotify to ask her (yet another) question.

Anthony Onesto, Talent

VP, Human Resources, Razorfish

As Vice President of Human Resources at Razorfish, Anthony Onesto has more than 18 years’ experience in strategy, product, recruiting and human resources and works closely with Razorfish’s executive leadership to cultivate career development of talent across the agency. He is a resourceful, well-respected and influential senior business partner, and currently serves as an advisor to several startup technology companies, helping with overall company, product and go-to-market strategies. He resides in Staten Island with his wife and three kids.

With a background in communications and nearly 20 years in the creative industry, Pauline has mastered the art of left brain/right brain integration. As CRO, she is focused on developing satisfying relationships for Struck including current accounts, strategic partnerships and attracting new clients. Previously Pauline held the title of COO and she led the efforts to develop operational and strategic alignment for Struck.  For the past few years that has meant evolving Struck’s offerings to deliver client-satisfying solutions. She holds a Master’s Degree in Political Science from La Sorbonne, Paris and a degree in Communications from UCLA.

Kate Richling oversees Phenomblue's Shared Services Group, ensuring the technology, creative and project management teams are aligned with company goals, processes and have the resources they need to ultimately be successful. Previously, Kate served as Phenomblue's Vice President of Communications and worked in public relations for Omaha-based firm Leslie Kline Lukas and Chicago's Field Museum. Currently, Kate serves as founder and president of The Shakespeare Collective, is on the Board of Trustees for Nebraska Shakespeare and has provided volunteer support to various organizations including Omaha Fashion Week, Make-A-Wish Foundation of Illinois and Omaha Children’s Museum.

Brigitte leads a team of Forrester Research analysts who help clients develop strategies to master and coordinate digital and traditional marketing channels using new media and technology to win, serve, and retain customers. Brigitte has more than 10 years of agency experience crafting integrated marketing strategies with an emphasis on digital innovation. Brigitte holds a B.S. from Boston University in engineering and an MBA from the Yale School of Management.

As vice president and principal analyst at Forrester Research, Melissa serves B2C Marketing Professionals and is a leading expert on social and digital marketing strategy. Melissa earned a B.A. in drama and philosophy from Loyola University, New Orleans, an M.A. in liberal studies from The New School, and an M.F.A. in dramaturgy and script development from Columbia University.

Sarah serves B2C Marketing Professionals at Forrester Research. Sarah's chief role is to help marketing leaders navigate the needs from and relationships with the agencies that serve them. Kuocheng Liao is a Taiwanese born in 1983 and now based in Taipei, Taiwan. He has became a full-time freelance illustrator since 2014. He was studying advertising when in college. Currently he’s also pursuing a master’s degree in digital content and technologies at National Chengchi University in Taipei.
